Talk: Percy Bysshe Shelley & Ireland

The Great Romantic poet Percy Bysshe Shelley was a political radical who was hated by the British establishment. He was also a friend to Ireland, a supporter or the 1798 rebellion, an advocate of Catholic Emancipation and repeal of the Union.  Paul O’Brien, an expert on Shelly’s involvement in Irish politics and life, will give a talk “Shelley and Ireland” on October 30^th at 3pm here at Books Upstairs. Admission is free and all are welcome.
