The Vintage Collector’s Classics Table Quiz

A literary table quiz from Books Upstairs & Penguin Books Ireland. Spot prizes, refreshments & a chance to win the full set!

Classic literature enthusiasts, we’re looking for you! If you’re a fan of Jane Austen, The Brontes, Oscar Wilde, Mary Shelley – think all things Romantic and Gothic – then we’d love for you to join us on May 27th for the Vintage Collector’s Classics Table Quiz in the Books Upstairs café. We’ll have questions ranging from identifying famous quotes, seeing how well you know the books compared to their film adaptations, as well as the famous last words of some of literature’s most iconic characters, and more. (Perhaps this can be your hint to get revising!)

The winning team will receive a full set of the Vintage Collector’s Classics – that’s ten books, each with richly coloured cover art, sprayed edges, marbled end papers and a ribbon to mark your page. There will also be spot prizes on throughout the night so plenty of chances to win!

Books from the Vintage Collector’s Classics series will be sold at a special price for participants, and complimentary notebooks, bookmarks and bags along with themed food and drink recipes will also be available on the night. Refreshments will be available as part of the ticket price.
