‘A space on the shelf’ is a humorous but tender Dublin-set tale about a young woman coming of age and finding her place in a busy, complicated world.
Jessie McNulty is minding a precious book for her ex-boyfriend. When the book and the cheque inside go missing, it unlocks a chain of events—Jessie’s past and present start to unravel. Jessie must face complex personal and family issues. Ultimately, Jessie realizes what true friendship means to her along the way.

AM Fagan is a writer of poetry and fiction. She has had work published in a Trinity College Literary Journal, in an ezine, on display in an exhibition, and in The Galway Review. She has recently completed a Masters in Creative Writing.
About Illustrator Andrew Thomas Gray
Andrew is an artist from London who lives in Dublin. He graduated from the National College of Art and Design and is the current recipient of the Black Church Print Award. He has sold a few works to the OPW.
